Model-set rules

The host determines compatibility for the extraction.

BIMRelay resolves the exact Revit release from published model evidence before selecting its cloud extraction engine. A linked model from a newer Revit release than the host blocks extraction until the host and model set are republished compatibly.

When Autodesk Forma has not finished processing enough evidence to identify a model's Revit version, BIMRelay waits rather than guessing. The host and every link selected for extraction must be available and reviewable before paid extraction work starts. Missing links can be left out after review.

No desktop add-in is required. BIMRelay works with published Revit cloud models and standard published RVT files available through the connected Forma project.
